Babar Azam is one of the most consistent batters in modern-day cricket and though his form off-late has not been great, he still has stats that puts him among the best in the world. He has a good record in all three formats, but his best has come in ODIs and now in the final of the tri-nation series against New Zealand, he reached another significant milestone.
He completed his 6000 ODI runs in just 123 innings and became the fastest to reach the landmark alongside Babar Azam. He could not carry on and get a big score, and departed for 29 off 34 balls, disappointing Pakistan fans again ahead in the big game.
