Babar Azam has registered successive failure in the ODI series against South Africa in Faisalabad. The star batter scored seven runs in the first match and now has managed just 11 off 13 balls.

Thus, the former captain has let down Pakistan again, and with every failure, the pressure is mounting on Babar Azam. In this second ODI, he walked out to bat at number 3 after Fakhar Zaman fell for a duck in the very first over.

He started off with a lovely shot, which fetched him three runs. However, on the next ball, he survived an LBW call with DRS overturning the decision. However, he could not make the lifeline count, and Nandre Burger got the better of him in the fifth over with an absolute cracker of a delivery.

Nandre Burger destroys Pakistan's top-order

After Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan also fell in the same over and Pakistan were reduced to 22 for three. All three wickets have been bagged by red-hot Nandre Burger and Pakistan's decision to bat first after winning the toss has not gone well so far.

Thus, it is upto Saim Ayub and Salman Ali Agha to build a strong partnership and take their team out of the deep hole. The home team is leading the series after winning the first match by two wickets in a nervy run-chase and would be looking to seal the series in this game.

For South Africa, the move to bring in Nandre Burger has worked wonders. He has bowled with great rhythm, and Pakistan's batting vulnerability has again been exposed. As far as Babar Azam is concerned, he would be under immense pressure to score runs in the third ODI as his last century in the format came two years back.
