After Australia defeated India in the 2nd T20I of the five-match series, the third T20I is set to take place at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart, on Sunday, November 2. The high-octane clash is all set to go live for fans from 1:45 PM IST.

Australia

Australia is clearly holding the edge after a dominating 2nd T20I performance against India. The Mitchell Marsh-led team will see Mahli Beardman debut in place of Josh Hazlewood in the 3rd T20I.

The new face void, however, won't be much as the squad still carries significant experience with names like Glenn Maxwell, Adam Zampa and Matthew Kuhnemann in the bowling front. Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh will continue with the bat at the top as they would like another brutal show with the bat in the now four-match series.

India

India, after having a shaky batting display in the 2nd T20I, would like to bounce back with better performances from Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube and Tilak Varma. Arshdeep Singh's inclusion is likely in the squad after the failure of Harshit Rana, who gave away 27 runs from his 2 overs. With the series almost on the line, Suryakumar Yadav, the skipper, would also like to chip in largely to try and level the series.

AUS vs IND head-to-head overview in T20Is

Australia and India have faced each other in 34 T20Is. India holds a clear advantage with 20 wins against Australia, while the latter managed only 12 wins. Two of these matches have ended in a no result.

Bellerive Oval Hobart pitch report

With a historical advantage in chasing, Bellerive Oval in Hobart is generally a batting-friendly pitch. While seamers might get help from the bounce on the track early in the game, spinners are of very little assistance here. As the game progresses, the pitch flattens out more and batters can get more out of it with better connectivity of the ball and the bat. The toss-winning captain would like to bowl here first.
