As per the latest updates coming live from Pallekele, the big-ticket game between arch-rivals India and Pakistan could get called off, if the rain doesn't stop by 10:27 PM IST. The rain has been playing hide and seek the whole day, before returning big time during the mid innings on Saturday.

As rain continues to pour in at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, the cricket world awaits the resumption of the ongoing India-Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 clash.

Meanwhile, we have important news for you. The latest development coming out states that for a 20-over run-chase, the match would have to be resumed by 10:27 PM IST which is the cut-off time.

India have already been bowled out for 266 runs in 48.5 overs. Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan led a fightback with fifty-plus knocks after the Pakistan pacers sent the Indian top-order packing early on in the innings.

While there were two such events during the first innings when the play had to be stopped due to rain, the ongoing interruption has been the lengthiest of all.

Play was expected to resume after 9:00 pm as umpires did the inspection after the rain stopped for a while, however, it again started to pelt down as we continued to wait.

Notably, if Pakistan gets to bat for 20 overs, the target for them would be 155.
