Chennai Super Kings (CSK) were 72 after the end of 10 overs chasing 203 for victory when Ravichandran Ashwin came in to bowl the 11th over. All of a sudden the match changed as in-form batter Ajinkya Rahane lost his wicket on the second ball with the visitors calling the impact player in.
Left-arm pacer Akash Singh was substituted with batter Ambati Rayudu walking in to bat at fifth position. However, he couldn't even stay for another delivery as Ashwin bowled an outstanding delivery to dismiss the right-hander which was excellently caught by Jason Holder at deep mid-wicket.
The canny spinner didn't let the CSK impact ploy work this time as well causing the MS Dhoni side to suffer massive blows.
Rajasthan were quite wonderful on the field as they held onto their chances along with restricting the side with fewer runs through their fielding.
Earlier, Jaiswal's blitzkrieg stole the limelight and later, Dhruv Jurel took on the bowlers with 15-ball 34 that power RR to 202 with Tushar Deshpande bagging two wickets.
By the time of writing, CSK were 98 for four after the end of 13 overs with 105 required.
