It was a brilliant knock from the youngster as she came to bat when Australia were 107/3 and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Nonetheless, she remained unfazed by the wickets and played her natural game. The century featured 11 fours and two sixes.

Further, Sutherland went on to script a massive record with her century knocks. It is worth noting that it is Annabel's second consecutive century in ODIs as she played played a match against India women in the 3rd ODI, where she hit 110 (95). With this, she became the first-ever cricketer in Women's cricket history to hit consecutive ODI tons while batting at number 5 or below.

"Well, it was a tricky surface to bat on. I just wanted to build up a few partnerships and then accelerate. I pretty much wanted to bat long. Generally, we don't get a chance to bat but yeah, feels really good. Yeah, I think Penfold bowled really well bowling hard-length deliveries. Hopefully, we get some early breakthroughs and put them under pressure," she said during mid-break.
