On July 22, Salman Ali Agha's Pakistan locked horns with Bangladesh in the second T20I of their three-match series. The much-awaited match is currently in progress at the same venue Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. With a convincing 7-wicket win in the opening match, Bangladesh will be looking to clinch the series with a 2-0 lead.

At the toss, Pakistan skipper Salman Ali Agha opted to bowl first and explained the rationale behind the decision:

"We are going to bowl first. We want to chase it down, and that's what we are comfortable with as a team as well. It doesn't matter where or what wicket you are playing if it's flat. As a bowler, you still have to be on target and put the ball in the right areas consistently, and that's what we're looking for today. We have one change."

Meanwhile, Litton Das also said didn't mind batting first, he said,

"Definitely we'll try to win the series today, try hard to keep that momentum. Good wicket to bat on. I don't mind batting first."

In terms of team changes, Pakistan have made one alteration to their lineup, with Ahmed Daniyal replacing Abrar Ahmed. Meanwhile, Bangladesh have made two changes, bringing in Mohammad Naim and Shoriful Islam in place of Taskin Ahmed and Tanzid Hasan Tamim.
