It was an evening to forget for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) pacer, Mohammed Shami as the pacer was taken to the cleaners by the Punjab Kings batters in the ongoing IPL 2025 match. He looked out of touch and the PBKS batters took advantage of it as they hammered it to all corners of the ground.
The hitting was so severe that the pace bowler recorded the second worst-figures in the history of the Indian Premier League. He went for 75 runs in 4 overs as Punjab scored 245/6. The worst figures were registered in the ongoing IPL by Rajasthan Royals pacer, Jofra Archer, who went for 76 runs against SRH.
