The much-anticipated draft list for men's and women's The Hundred 2023 has been revealed, containing some of the biggest players in cricket, like Mitchell Starc, Harmanpreet Kaur, Babar Azam, Trent Boult, and Danni Wyatt, amongst others.

The draft will take place on March 23, while the retention was completed in February. This will be the first time that a women's draft has been held in the 100-ball tournament.

The troika of Babar, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Afridi will be up for grabs, along with the likes of Marcus Stoinis, Adam Zampa, Kane Williamson, Trent Boult, Andre Russell, Kieron Pollard, Shakib Al Hasan and Reece Topley.

Former Indian player Robin Uthappa will also be available in the draft as the lone Indian male player.

Apart from Kaur, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, Laura Wolvaardt, Sophie Devine, Sophia Dunkley, and Kate Cross have put their names into the hat.

Australian women's leading superstars Meg Lanning, Tahlia McGrath, and Beth Mooney have opted to stay out of the league this year.

All franchises have one right to match choice during the draft, where they can re-sign a player from the 2022 edition squad. Women's clubs will have four additional players via the draft, with the remaining 15 being picked from the open market.

However, the men's side can conjure a squad of 13 players in the draft, with two additional wildcard picks.
