England vs Sri Lanka (Source: Twitter)
It is the 39th match of ICC T20 World Cup 2022. England will be playing against Sri Lanka in what turns out to be their fight to live in the tournament.
The situation for England is very plain and simple. They will have to win the match to make it into the semi finals of the World Cup.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka has no further chance of going ahead. But the hope of the hosts and the defending champions, Australia depend on them. If Sri Lanka manages a victory in the match it will mean that Australia goes through to the next round.
Tips for building fantasy teams in the match:
- The match will be played in Sydney Cricket Ground, which has till now behaved more like a subcontinent wicket than an Australian pitch.
- The pitch has genuinely favoured batting in the first half. While in the second innings it has got difficult.
- All the matches here has been won by the team batting first in this World Cup and that too by big margins.
- Wait till the toss, and they try to put more impact batters from the team that bats first in your eleven.
- England looks a better team on paper, but the current Sri Lankan team has the ability to punch above their weight.
