Peshawar Zalmi

The Peshawar Zalmi have not got the right sort of start to the tournament. They played against the Quetta Gladiators in their first game. The Gladiators attacked the Zalmi bowling lineup on the flat deck. They conceded 206 runs in 20 overs. 

In the chase, the Zalmis had a great start. Saim Ayub and Babar Azam set up the chase nicely for the team. But the middle order failed to capitalise on it, so they lost the game by 16 runs. After losing the game, they are placed in the second-last position in the points table.

Karachi Kings

The Karachi Kings were the most underperforming team in the first set of the games. They played their first match against the Multan Sultans. The Sultans batted first and posted 185 runs in their 20 overs.
