The Big Bash League 2022-23 is on the way with the first match between Sydney Thunder and Melbourne Stars. And if we are to believe that morning shows the day, this is going to be a thrilling tournament. 

The next encounter of the tournament will be between Adelaide Strikers and Sydney Sixers. Sixers will be looking to go one better this time than the previous season and lift the title (for the 4th time), while the Adelaide Strikers will be looking to lift their second title.

What makes him an even more important pick is his batting ability. He can come down the order and provide some strong finishes to the team. 

2. Moises Henriques: Hailing from Sydney, the all-rounder has been an integral part of the Sixers team. In the last season, Henriques batted in 15 innings and scored 440 runs in them at an average of 36.67 and a strike rate of 133.33. 

Henriques can also roll his arm over for a couple of overs and that gives you more chances to pick up some valuable points also. 

3. Peter Siddle: The former Australian pacer was seen leading the Strikers in the previous season. He was of great value to the team not only as a leader but also as a bowler. In 2022, Siddle bowled in 17 innings and picked up 30 wickets in them while giving away runs at an economy of 8.33. 

If he finds his rhythm in the first outing of the season, Siddle will surely give some important points if picked up in the fantasy team.

1.Jake Weatherald: This middle-order batter did not have the best of times in the previous season. But a season before that he was striking the ball hard and was scoring at a strike rate of 141.04. 

So, one can take the risk with Weatherald as he might pick up his rhythm and score some vital and quick runs in the match giving valuable points.

2. Dan Christian: Dan Christian is a great utility player who can contribute with both the bat and the ball. In the last BBL season, Christian batted in 15 innings and scored 264 runs in them at a strike rate of 126.32, with the ball also he did a very good job picking up 7 wickets in 13 innings while giving away runs at an economy of 7.50.
