Wife Ritika Sajdeh Shares Selfie With Rohit Sharma; Calls Indian Captain 'My Boy'

After the conclusion of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, Team India captain Rohit Sharma is spending time away from the game, having been in action since September. Sharma, his wife Ritika Sajdeh, and daughter Samaira are currently in the United Kingdom.

Sharma, who has been in the news regarding his future as white-ball captain amidst all the uproar, was seen in an adorable selfie with wife Ritika. Ritika took to the social media platform Instagram, and shared a picture with herself and Sharma,  which had the caption "My Boy" along with a heart emoji.

Sharma's T20I future is likely to be discussed soon as the BCCI and selectors start looking forward to the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. 

With coach Rahul Dravid getting an extension, the BCCI might well hand Sharma the long-rope, given his performance in World Cup 2023, both as captain and a batter. 

Under Sharma, India reached the final of the World Cup 2023 in India, having notched up a ten-match unbeaten streak, only to face defeat in the final against Australia. With the bat, Sharma led from the front, showcasing aggressive cricket, amassing 597 runs in 11 matches, with one hundred and three half-centuries.  

Meanwhile, Sharma is expected to captain India in the Tests against South Africa, while ODI and T20I leadership remains uncertain. The tour starts from December 10, and will include three T20Is, three ODIs and two Tests.
