Former West Indies captain-turned commentator Daren Ganga married her Wife Pranita Tiwari Ganga in 2020, Hailing from Varanasi, India, Pranita was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, where she embarked on a successful career before becoming an entrepreneur in Port of Spain, Trinidad.

Since their marriage, the couple has been making waves in Trinidad, where they run a Fresh Juice Bar. But there's more to this power couple than meets the eye – Pranita's deep love for Indian culture and her fondness for Bhojpuri songs add a unique charm to their Caribbean venture.

In the midst of lockdown uncertainty, Pranita and Daren tied the knot in an intimate private ceremony. But this was just the beginning of their dreams. Pranita, with her eyes set on her Indian roots, dreams of a lavish wedding celebration in India, complete with multiple days of festivities. And who better to set the Sangeet night on fire than the Punjabi and Bollywood singer Mika? With such grand aspirations, this couple is all about turning dreams into reality.

Their love story began in New York at the IIFA awards. Daren Ganga met Pranita Tiwari. Soon, they were madly in love, united not just by their feelings but also by their Indian connection. Daren, hailing from Trinidad, is part of the rich legacy of Indian origin. Their shared heritage became the bedrock of their rock-solid relationship.

After their wedding, Pranita was determined not to sit back at home. With a background of working with the New York Times, she spotted a business opportunity in Trinidad. She found Trinidad lacked a Fresh Juice Bar. Pranita, seeing a chance to connect with her roots, envisioned the 'Ganga Juice Bar.' The name to signifies both her origins and her husband's surname, Daren Ganga.

Here's what she said:

"I was born in Australia. My hindi is not very fluent. My siblings will laugh at me for speaking in hindi but I like speaking in hindi. We were in India for about 2 months during IPL and I really enjoyed my time over there. My parents are from Varanasi. I have been there many times. My Foofaji (uncle from father's side) lives at the Assi Ghat. My whole family lives there. I always wanted to do something which was connected to my roots. Because I feel proud as an Indian even if I was not born there."

Pranita's love for her native Bhojpuri language knows no bounds. Despite speaking broken Bhojpuri, her admiration for the language is intense. As a fan of the talented Manoj Tiwari, she revels in listening to his songs, which remind her of her roots.

As for Daren Ganga, his cricketing prowess was admired across 48 Tests, 35 ODIs, and 1 T20I for West Indies between 1998 and 2006. Despite retiring from all forms of international cricket in 2012, his journey continued with newfound success as a commentator.
