Indian captain, Rohit Sharma is stepping onto the international stage with an ambitious endeavour which is to expand his globally admired cricket academy, 'Crickingdom', into the United States of America (USA).

The charismatic right-hander, known for his explosive batting, was met with an exuberant welcome from American cricket enthusiasts on his recent visit.

'Crickingdom' stands as one of the largest cricket academies in the world, and its reputation precedes it in India. Now, with Rohit driving its global outreach, budding cricketer in America are set to benefit from the acclaimed academy's expertise.

The Indian skipper was at the helm during the team's 1-0 Test series victory against West Indies. He steered India to a win in the first ODI of the series as well. The 36-year-old then took a well-deserved break due to workload pressures, passing the baton to Hardik Pandya.

Under Hardik's leadership, the Indian team, although suffering a setback in the second ODI, rebounded with determination to clinch the third match and subsequently, the series.
