Indian cricketer KL Rahul celebrated his first marriage anniversary with wife Athiya Shetty by sharing highlights of the wedding ceremony on his social media account. The 31-year-old took to Instagram and shared a minute-long video on January 23, i.e., just a day prior to India’s five-match Test series against England.

Indian wicketkeeper-batsman KL Rahul married long-time partner and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty on January 23, 2023. While the cricketer is currently in Hyderabad for India’s Test match against England, he shared a minute-long video of his wedding highlights on his Instagram account.

In the caption, the 31-year-old wrote:

                                               “Finding you was like coming home.”

Earlier this month, KL Rahul was selected in India’s 16-player squad for the first two Test matches against England. Head coach Rahul Dravid confirmed that the 49-match veteran will be playing purely as a batter, even though he donned the wicketkeeping gloves in South Africa in his previous Test appearance.

Back in December, the dazzling right-handed batter packed a scintillating century against South Africa at Centurion, before he was dropped from India’s T20I side for the home series against Afghanistan.

India is set to face England in a series of five Test matches between January and March, and the fixtures constitute a part of the ongoing 2023-25 ICC World Test Championship (WTC) cycle.

The first match against England will commence from January 25 onwards and will be staged at the iconic Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
