Lucknow Lions Ashish Kumar Meena took four wickets in an over without conceeding a single run on Tuesday in the Entertainers Cricket League (ECL) 2024, that too against Abhishek Malhan-starred Bangalore Bashers. It was the fifth over of the Bashers' innings when the unthinkable happened, and no wonder Meena became the talk of the town in no time.

Meena's wicket-taking spree began with the dismissal of Umang Sethi, who made 40 off just 13 balls. Then the next three, who were dismissed within the following five deliveries, were sent packing without opening the mark. Wicket-keeper batter Ketan Patel was the last man to be dismissed in that over, as the Bashers fell like a pack of cards.
In the end, Ashish Kumar Meena finished with figures of 2-1-8-5, which significantly helped the Lions to bundle out the Bashers for a paltry 113 in 7.5 overs. Notably, as many as seven batters were gone for duck, making the innings more embarrassing.
