If Shakib Al Hasan collects eight more wickets, he will become only the fifth all-rounder in history to achieve a Test double of 4,000 runs and 250 wickets. As of now, the elite club is spearheaded only by former cricketers Jacques Kallis, Kapil Dev, Ian Botham and Daniel Vettori.

Virat Kohli has so far accrued 26,942 runs across all three formats from 591 international innings. The elite batting record is currently held by all-time great Sachin Tendulkar, who breached the 27,000-run threshold from 623 innings.
