Virat Kohli Enjoys Special Christmas Breakfast With Anushka Sharma In Melbourne

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma enjoyed each other's company and took time for each other with a special Christmas breakfast at a cafe in Melbourne on Wednesday (December 25). 

The power couple, were spotted soaking up the festive atmosphere at a local eatery, just a day before the much-anticipated Boxing Day Test between India and Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

Virat Kohli, was seen in a relaxed but stylish appearance in a pink oversized T-shirt and grey jeans. The cafe was thrilled by the surprise visit from the superstar and his wife, Anushka Sharma. According to the cafe, Virat Kohli even took the time to step into the kitchen to personally thank the chefs for their meal and posed for photos with them.

The cafe revealed that they had initially been uncertain about staying open on the public holiday but were delighted by the visit of the famous couple, which turned out to be the highlight of their day.

"This morning, while we were still debating whether to keep our cafe open on a public holiday, little did we know we were about to have the surreal experience of serving King @virat.kohli @anushkasharma, and the family at our little cafe," the cafe said in an Instagram post.

Virat Sir was so kind to step into our kitchen, thank chefs and let us take pictures with him," the post read.

Earlier in the day, a video surfaced online in which Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were seen taking a casual stroll through Melbourne lane. The video quickly went viral, adding to the buzz surrounding the couple’s Christmas celebrations.

Virat Kohli has been criticised recently due to his poor form and so he was seen spending extra time in the nets over the weekend, working diligently to focus on his weakness against deliveries outside the off-stump. Despite a promising start to the tour, where he scored a century in the first Test in Perth, Kohli has faced challenges in the rest of the series in Adelaide and Brisbane. 

In addition to his on-field focus, Kohli was involved in a heated incident earlier this week at the Melbourne airport.
