Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar became the centre of attention at Aamir Khan’s house during the premiere of the actor’s latest film, ‘Sitaare Zameen Par.’ As soon as Tendulkar entered the venue with his wife Anjali, the room came alive with the iconic “Sachin, Sachin” chants.

Tendulkar and Aamir share a close friendship that goes back many years. They have often been seen supporting each other at important events, whether it’s a movie release or a big cricket match.

Earlier this year, Aamir Khan even invited Sachin to a special screening of ‘Loveyaapa,’ a movie featuring Aamir’s son Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor.

Tendulkar Set To Be Honoured In IND-ENG Test Series

The iconic India-England Test series will now be played for the ‘Tendulkar-Anderson Trophy,’ replacing the Pataudi Trophy. This change honours Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar and England’s pace great James Anderson.

Tendulkar, the highest run-scorer in Test history with 15,921 runs, and Anderson, the most successful fast bowler with 704 wickets, shared a memorable rivalry. Anderson dismissed Tendulkar nine times in 14 Tests. The trophy will debut on June 20, 2025, at Headingley.
