Young Punjab lads and Team India openers Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma celebrated India’s Asia Cup 2025 win in the latter’s ‘Player of the Tournament’ winning car in Dubai. The two cricketers were spotted inside the car after the high-octane finale, as they posed for selfies outside the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
It is worth noting that Abhishek was declared the ‘Player of the Tournament’ for minting 314 runs in the entire 2025 Asia Cup, and was handed over the car keys during a rather-controversial post-match presentation ceremony.

In an interesting video circulating around social media, Indian opener Shubman Gill can be seen joining partner Abhishek Sharma in the latter’s ‘Player of the Tournament’ winning car after the thrilling Asia Cup 2025 final.
Surrounded by fans and media personnel outside the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, the two cricketers even clicked some winning selfies inside Abhishek’s brand-new ‘HAVAL H9 SUV’.
While both Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma failed to go big against Pakistan on the big day, the two blistering openers mounted a 100-play opening stand in a match-winning cause for India against the ‘Men in Green’ in the Super Four stage of the tournament. Abhishek whacked 75 off 37 balls in the game, as part of his prolific run in the 2025 Asia Cup.
With three successive half-centuries, all during the Super Four stage, compounding in his 314-run tally, the attacking opener was named the ‘Player of the Tournament after Team India’s thrilling victory.
Indian spinners Kuldeep Yadav (4-30), Varun Chakravarthy, Axar Patel as well as ace paceman Jasprit Bumrah induced a dramatic collapse as Pakistan lost nine wickets for 33 to slip to 146 all out despite reaching a commanding 113-1 at one stage.
In response, India lost each of their top three batters inside the powerplay, before Tilak Varma conjured fighting partnerships with Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube. Varma made 69* off 53 balls to anchor the Indian chase in the final over.
