Former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik made headlines when the cricketer married India's Tennis star Sania Mirza in 2010, which invited criticism from both countries, given the geopolitical tension.
However, lately, there seems to be trouble in paradise, as reports of a rift between the couple have been soaring all over the place with several cryptic posts from Mirza in November 2022.
Now, Malik in a recent development has removed ' husband' from his Instagram bio, sparking new rumours of separation between both athletes.
Malik's earlier bio read "Husband to a superwoman @mirzasaniar." which now only reads “Father to One True Blessing.”
The couple tied the knot as per Muslim traditions in Hyderabad, India, and then proceeded to have a Walima ceremony in Sialkot, Pakistan. Malik and Mirza welcomed their first child 'Izhaan' in 2018.
The rift between the star couple started in early 2022, claiming that Malik and Mirza are living separately, which remains unverified. Interestingly, amidst separation rumors, the pair appeared on a Pakistan OTT platform and co-hosted The Mirza and Malik Show.
