The highly anticipated third season of the DP World ILT20 got off to a dazzling start on Saturday (January 11), with a glittering opening ceremony at the Dubai International Stadium. The evening was made even more spectacular with electrifying performances by Bollywood megastars Shahid Kapoor, Pooja Hegde, and Sonam Bajwa with their chart-topping songs and energetic dance.

The stadium was filled with anticipation at the opening ceremony of ILT20. Shahid Kapoor, known for his dynamic dancing kicked off the celebrations with an exuberant performance to some of his biggest hits. 

Pooja Hegde, the gorgeous and talented actress of Bollywood and South Indian cinema, followed with a mesmerising dance. Her graceful moves and vibrant stage presence lit up the stadium. Adding to the star power, Sonam Bajwa, the 'Punjabi kudi', took to the stage with her fiery dance moves and striking presence. 

The ceremony also saw the presence of Bollywood producer and actor Jackky Bhagnani, along with actress Ridhima Pathak.

The first match of the season is between Dubai Capitals and MI Emirates. 

MI Emirates, clinched their maiden ILT20 title last season, are among the favourites to repeat their success this year as well. With a star-studded lineup and a winning momentum, they are poised to deliver another strong performance in the tournament.
