Indian domestic cricket’s run-machine Sarfaraz Khan has once again grabbed the headlines, but this time not for a big knock on the field. The right-hander, who has been India’s most consistent red-ball performer in recent years, turned heads on Saturday when he dropped two fresh pictures on Instagram flaunting his dashing new avatar.

Sarfaraz Khan Proves His Fashion Game Is On Point With A Suave Black Outfit

Clad in an all-black outfit: black shirt, trousers, shoes, shades and a silver watch to seal the look, Sarfaraz looked every bit the stylish star. The first snap showed him laughing candidly on a couch while the second had him striking a mirror selfie. Fans quickly flooded the comments section, lauding his fit and fabulous transformation.

Transformation That Silenced Critics

Sarfaraz has long been a talking point in Indian cricket circles, not just for his mountain of runs in the domestic circuit but also for the constant chatter around his fitness. Critics often argued that his fitness levels weren’t up to international standards. Well, the 26-year-old has shut them up the best way possible by shedding 17 kgs and looking leaner and sharper than ever.

Still Waiting For Consistent India Call

Despite making his Test debut against England earlier this year, Sarfaraz Khan is still searching for a permanent spot in the playing XI. He was left out of the recently concluded England series with Ajit Agarkar’s selection panel once again overlooking him. His struggles on the Australia tour also dented his case with the team management hesitant to back him further.

When the selectors decided to keep him out of the England tour, several former cricketers including Harbhajan Singh publicly rallied behind Sarfaraz, insisting his domestic form was too good to ignore. Now, with his commitment to fitness clear for all to see, Sarfaraz has sent a loud and clear message that he is ready to fight fire with fire.

For a man who has plundered runs season after season in Ranji cricket, this physical transformation is more than just cosmetic. It’s a signal to the selectors and team management that he is willing to put in the hard yards both on and off the field.
