Indian domestic cricket’s run-machine Sarfaraz Khan has once again grabbed the headlines, but this time not for a big knock on the field. The right-hander, who has been India’s most consistent red-ball performer in recent years, turned heads on Saturday when he dropped two fresh pictures on Instagram flaunting his dashing new avatar.

Clad in an all-black outfit: black shirt, trousers, shoes, shades and a silver watch to seal the look, Sarfaraz looked every bit the stylish star. The first snap showed him laughing candidly on a couch while the second had him striking a mirror selfie. Fans quickly flooded the comments section, lauding his fit and fabulous transformation.

Sarfaraz has long been a talking point in Indian cricket circles, not just for his mountain of runs in the domestic circuit but also for the constant chatter around his fitness. Critics often argued that his fitness levels weren’t up to international standards. Despite making his Test debut against England earlier this year, Sarfaraz Khan is still searching for a permanent spot in the playing XI.
