Amid the divorce news, a clip featuring journalist Shubhankar Mishra went viral. In the video, he criticized Dhanashree, saying that while financial independence is important, it contradicts her claiming to be a self-made woman when she reportedly took a hefty alimony.

Yuzi Chahal and Dhanashree’s Divorce Finalised

For those who don’t know, Chahal and Dhanashree got married in 2020 but had been living separately for the past 18 months. On March 20, 2025, the Bandra Family Court officially granted them a divorce, following a directive from the Bombay High Court to speed up the process.

Chahal’s lawyer, Nitin Kumar Gupta, confirmed the news, stating, “The court has granted the decree of divorce, and both parties are no longer husband and wife.”

Now that their marriage is legally over, the social media debate over their separation continues, with fans divided over whether Dhanashree was justified in accepting alimon or not. Meanwhile, Dhanashree's latest music video dropped on the same day of the divorce day also made fans speculate that may be Chahal cheated on her as the song explores infidelity and toxic relationships.
