The famous game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', hosted by legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, had a question regarding India's victory over Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2025. The question was about which player scored a century against India's arch-rivals in the 8-team tournament.

Question About India's Champions Trophy Victory Over Pakistan Appears In KBC

It turned out to be a brainstorming question for the contestant as Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) saw an interesting question regarding India's victory over Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2025. It was a Super Sandook question, which is a special round for the contestant, as multiple questions were asked within a set timeframe.

During this round, one of the questions appeared regarding who scored a century against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2025 match. The options presented were Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, and KL Rahul.

However, the contestant chose Shubman Gill, which was the wrong option, as the correct answer to this question was Virat Kohli, who was quite impressive in that game, scoring 100 not out off 111 deliveries with seven boundaries to his name, at a strike rate of 90, as India won comfortably by six wickets in just 42.3 overs, chasing 242 down for victory.

After the question, Amitabh Bachchan gave a quirky reply saying, "It is clear now that you don't watch much cricket."

Kohli's Dominant Record Against Pakistan

This game turned out to be one of India's most dominant games against Pakistan, as Kohli, who has an excellent run against their arch-nemesis, has scored centuries in some crucial games. Previously, Kohli, who has faced Pakistan in 11 T20I matches, has scored 492 runs at an average of 70.28, with five half-centuries in the shortest format.

In ODIs, he has faced the rivals in 17 games, scoring 778 runs at an average of 59.84, with four centuries and two half-centuries so far.

India will be up against the Pakistan side once again in the upcoming Asia Cup 2025 to be played in the United Arab Emirates, as the match will take place in Dubai. However, without Kohli, who bid adieu to the T20I format back in 2024 after India's T20 World Cup victory.
