Preity Zinta, the owner of Punjab Kings, recently faced some trolling on social media during a live Q&A session on X (formerly Twitter). The Bollywood actress, who is known for being active online, was answering questions from her fans when a comment about Virat Kohli caught her attention. Here's a breakdown of what happened.

Preity Zinta Gets Trolled Over Her Tweet About Settling Abroad

During the session, one user asked Preity about her decision to live abroad after marriage. She responded by saying that living a life filled with love and family was far more important than being in a toxic relationship just to stay in India.

Among the reactions, one troll posted a comment, saying, "Lahore film ke liye sanghi ko khus karti Zinta," which was a jab at Preity's previous statements. This comment clearly upset the actress, and she responded with a sharp retort.

She wrote, “Jo apni shakal dikhane ke layak nahi, aur Virat ki photo use kar raha hai… usse comment karne ka koi hak nahi.” This was directed at the troll, who had used Virat Kohli’s photo as their profile picture.

Soon after, another netizen asked, “Preity ji Virat ji ko kyu toda?” To this, Preity responded, "Please don’t say that. I absolutely adore Virat. That troll was using Virat Kohli’s photo as their DP, so I commented on that. People who hide behind celebrity faces as their DP and troll others are not allowed to post on my timeline. That’s all!"

With that, Preity cleared up any misunderstandings about her relationship with the cricketer.

On a different note, ahead of the 2025 IPL mega auction, PBKS made a big overhaul, retaining only two uncapped players: Shashank Singh and Prabhsimran Singh. The team also brought in Shreyas Iyer, the captain of KKR, for a massive Rs. 26.75 crore. Additionally, Arshdeep Singh was re-signed, and Yuzvendra Chahal was purchased for Rs. 18 crore. The 2025 season will also mark the start of Ricky Ponting as the team's new head coach.
