This was the case for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Shreyas Iyer, who was left in awe when he learned about Bollywood actress Malaika Arora’s enormous collection of shoes.

A few months ago, Shreyas Iyer appeared on Cyrus Broacha’s chat show alongside fellow KKR cricketer Nitish Rana. 

During the conversation, Cyrus casually mentioned, "I know Malaika Arora, a famous anchor, model, and actress, owns over 300 pairs of shoes." 

This revelation left Iyer visibly astonished, as captured in a video shared by the KKR’s official Instagram account. Shreyas Iyer reacted by saying, "Wow, unbelievable."

Cyrus, not one to miss a humorous moment, then urged Shreyas to reveal his own shoe collection. Iyer admitted to owning around 100 pairs of shoes, with a special fondness for sneakers. He shared how he loves to pair different sneakers with various outfits, showcasing his fashion-conscious side.

This light-hearted exchange highlights the human side of sports personalities, allowing fans to connect with their favorite players beyond the cricket field. The moment not only showed Iyer's surprise but also his admiration for Malaika’s impressive collection.
