Indian Actress Payal Ghosh Claims She Was In Love Affair With Irfan Pathan

Indian actress Payal Ghosh on Friday (December 1) made a shocking claim on former pacer Irfan Pathan, alleging the two of them were in a love affair.
Taking to Twitter, Ghosh posted a picture of them together, with a caption suggesting they were committed during Pathan's playing days before breaking up.
Ghosh went on to suggest her career fell off mainly because of the break up as she felt sick and mentally disturbed and couldn't find work in the film industry because of it. Notably, the same actress had earlier proposed another Indian cricketer Mohammad Shami in a viral post.

"After we broke up. I fell ill. I couldn’t work for years, but he was the only guy whom I loved. After that I never loved anybody," the actress tweeted in a post that has since gone viral.
Pathan, who enjoys a great social media following despite playing his last international match for India in 2012 before retiring across formats, was one of the popular cricketing stars of Indian cricket during his heyday.
It isn't clear when his love affair with Ghosh blossomed and fell off but the actress claims they were together and posted a picture of the two, presumably taken when Pathan was still an active international cricketer.
Pathan is reminisced as the protagonist of one of Indian cricket's saddest tales and among the most unfulfilled playing talents. Bursting onto the scene in 2003 as a bright young left-arm swing bowler who also had promising batting capabilities, the cricketer could only feature in 29 Tests, 120 ODIs and 24 T20Is in a career marred with injuries and played his last match at the age of 27 in 2012.
