Hardik Pandya, India's talented all-rounder, made headlines once again, but this time not for his on-field performances.
In the aftermath of India's thrilling ICC Champions Trophy 2025 triumph over New Zealand in Dubai, Pandya celebrated with a befitting flourish, doing the now-infamous 'Khaby Lame' dance while holding the trophy.
The post soon went on to become India's quickest Instagram post to attain 1 million likes, marking the feat within six minutes, and has accumulated more than 16 million likes since.
Throughout the tournament, Pandya contributed with both bat and ball. He had key cameos, such as a 45-run innings in the group stages, a 28-run inning in the semi-final against Australia, and an 18-run cameo in the final against New Zealand.
Overall, he amassed 99 runs at an average of 24.75 and a strike rate of 106.45. With the ball, he shared the new ball duties with Mohammed Shami and picked up four wickets at an average of 35.75.
