Hardik Pandya’s life has been a roller-coaster both on and off the field. From leading India in T20Is to playing crucial roles in ODIs, the all-rounder has always been under the microscope. But this time, his absence from the field has given fans a glimpse into another aspect of his life: his devotion.



The enigma of Hardik’s Test cricket future

Meanwhile, the timing of this break from cricket aligns with Pandya's decision to skip the recent Duleep Trophy 2024, which stirred questions about his future in Test cricket. However, it seems that Hardik is using this break to recharge not just physically but also spiritually.

While Hardik Pandya’s devotion during Ganesh Chaturthi has grabbed attention, his absence from the Test arena has also been the subject of discussion. It has been six long years since Hardik last donned the whites for India in a Test match. Despite being one of India’s most valuable seam-bowling all-rounders, injuries and workload management have kept him away from the longest format of the game.

The cricketing fraternity had high hopes for Hardik’s return to Test cricket, especially with him looking fitter than ever. However, his decision to sit out the Duleep Trophy ahead of India’s Test series against Bangladesh raised eyebrows.
