Stylish Indian batter Jemimah Rodrigues celebrated her 22nd birthday on Monday, September 5th.

And, amid a sea of heartwarming wishes from her colleagues, opponents, fans and media personalities, 5-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians' also posted their wishes for the Mumbai cricketer.

Their Twitter handle wrote:

"To one of the most vibrant cricketers with immense talent. Happy Birthday, Jemi."

Reacting to the birthday wish, Jemimah went on to urge the Mumbai Indians that they better pick her up when the Women's IPL comes rolling next year.

Jemimah Rodrigues has been brilliant in T20s in last few years

Rodrigues will be one of the most sought after Indian cricketer when the Women's IPL franchises decide to form their squad.

The enterprising top-order batter is one of the best T20 players going around in women's cricket, with her performances in the Hundred ball competition and the WBBL garnering worldwide attention.

Rodrigues made a return to the Indian set-up after a prolonged hiatus earlier this year, and she was one of India's top-performers in the recent Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Her next assignment will be the trip to England where the Harmanpreet Kaur-led unit will lock horns with the hosts in three T20Is and as many One-day internationals between September 10-24, 2022.

As far as the Women's IPL is concerned, the BCCI have carved out a window in the month of March for the fledgling league, and it is expected to go on floor next year.
