The ongoing five-T20I series between hosts West Indies and England sees the home side lead 2-1 as the action moves into the final leg of the tour.

Ahead of the fourth T20I, Cricket West Indies (CWI) on Wednesday, have announced a reshuffled West Indies squad for the remaining two matches, which sees batter Shimron Hetmyer and bowler Alzarri Joseph go out and fast bowler Oshane Thomas and hard-hitting opener Johnson Charles come in.

Joseph, who has claimed six wickets in the series, has been rested with selectors managing his overload ahead of the West Indies Test tour of Australia next month.  The pacer is expected to spearhead the attack across formats, where Windies will play two Tests, three ODIs and as many T20Is starting January 17.

Hetmyer, on the other hand, has struggled to find any form with the bat and has managed just three runs in 2 T20Is in this series, which forced the selectors to bring in Charles.

Thomas played in the One-Day Internationals (ODI), picking up two wickets in as many matches, where West Indies ended up winning the series 2-1.

The fourth and fifth T20Is will both be played at Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad.

West Indies squad

Rovman Powell (C) Shai Hope (VC), Johnson Charles, Roston Chase, Matthew Forde, Jason Holder, Akeal Hosein, Brandon King, Kyle Mayers, Gudakesh Motie, Nicholas Pooran, Andre Russell, Sherfane Rutherford, Romario Shepherd, and Oshane Thomas.
