WI vs BAN | 3rd T20I - Fantasy Tips

West Indies are hosting Bangladesh in three-match T20I series. Both the teams will be looking at the series as the preparation ground for the upcoming T20 World Cup scheduled later this year in Australia.

Going into the series' final match, the hosts lead the series by 1-0. Before the game begins, let us try and pick up some tips for the fantasy eleven of the match.

Prime Picks

West Indies

Obed McCoy: Obed McCoy had a decent second match of the series. He bowled four overs in the game, conceding 37 runs in them. But to his credit, he had the wickets of Anamul Haque and Liton Das to his name.

Bowling the tricky overs of the match, McCoy looks like a good pick for the players looking to participate in fantasy cricket.

Rovman Powell: Powell played an explosive knock for the hosts coming out to bat in the lower middle order. His contribution of 61 runs from 28 balls turned into a match-winning effort.

Having picked up 97 points in the last match, he looks like a crucial choice for the match.

Bangladesh

Shakib Al Hasan: If Bangladesh is playing, Shakib becomes an automatic choice for fantasy sports. He is in good batting form, having scored 68 runs off 58 balls in the last match. Shakib also chipped in with a wicket while bowling in the game.

The Bangladesh veteran scored the highest point (171 points) in the previous match. Hence, Shakib becomes a significant pick for the match.

Steady Point Givers

West Indies

Brandon King: Brandon King played a steady knock of 57 runs off 43 deliveries in the previous match. His steady approach towards batting makes him a player who can give a few points at the least in most of the games.

Romario Sheperd: Shepherd was brilliant with the bowl in the last match. He bowled four overs, conceding just 28 runs, and picked up two wickets in his spell.

The fact that he is an all-rounder makes him a valuable asset to the team. So even if he fails in one trade, he can contribute with the other.

Bangladesh

Afif Hossain: Afif came with a valuable contribution of 34 runs from 27 deliveries in the last match. Afif looked like more of a percentage player; hence, he is a safe pick as he will contribute points in most games.

Risky Picks

West Indies

Nicholas Pooran: The skipper of the West Indian team played a knock of 34 runs off 30 balls in the last encounter. Although a decent contribution, the knock was unlike Pooran's natural style of play.

Another reason he is in the Risky Picks category is his overall lack of consistency. Although one thing is guaranteed, if the batter fires, he can change the complexion of any match.

Odean Smith: Odean Smith looks like a temperamental all-rounder. The day he finds his rhythm, he can be helpful to his team with the bat and the ball. But on off-days, Smith can be a huge liability to his team. Hence picking him for the team comes with its risks.

Bangladesh

Mustafizur Rahman: With a variety of deliveries in his repertoire, Rahman looks like an ideal T20 bowler. He has also proved his mettle in the shortest format of the game over time. However, the left-armer is looking off-colours in the recent past. Hence, Rahman is a risky pick for this match.

Liton Das: Liton Das has proved to be a game-changer for his national team on a few occasions. But his lack of consistency is a matter of concern that makes him a risky pick for the match.
