The match 31 of IPL 2025 turned out to be a low-scoring thriller for the ages! It was a game that defied cricketing logic as Punjab Kings managed to defend the lowest total in the history of the IPL. It was a roller-coaster of a ride, and one point it looked like KKR would go onto win the game comfortably.

However, things change drastically after the wicket of Ajinkya Rahane, and from 62-2, Kolkata Knight Riders were bowled out for just 95. It was a game whose story would be written in golden letters in the history of the IPL, and it is just the match the league is known for. Talking about the match, it started off with Shreyas Iyer winning the toss and deciding to bat first. They started off well with openers going bang bang, however, they crumbled big time in the middle overs and were cleaned up for 111, registering their lowest-ever total in IPL history against KKR.

In reply, KKR who were once eyeing a top position in the points table, crumbled drastically as Yuzvendra Chahal bagged four to stage a stunning combeback. The win has taken Punjab Kings to the number four position, while KKR with four losses in three matches are at the sixth position.
