India's batting maverick, Virat Kohli, who is currently in the West Indies, took time out to meet with young West Indies cricketers who are all ardent fans of the former India captain, and graciously signed autographs and took pictures with them, making their day with his kind gestures.

The video was shared by the official Twitter account of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), with the caption:

“Precious souvenirs, priceless selfies 🤳 and autographs ✍️ in plenty ft. 'most favourite batter of all time' - Virat Kohli 😃👌🏻”

The Men in Blue will engage in a multi-format series with West Indies, which comprises two Test matches, followed by three ODIs and five T20Is. The first Test between the two sides will be played from July 12 at Dominica at Windsor Park.

Kohli experienced an extended lean across formats patch that saw him go century-less for 1051 days. However, he put an end to his dry spell with a phenomenal knock of 122 runs off a mere 61 balls against Afghanistan in the 2022 edition of the Asia Cup.

The Delhi batsman struck yet another century against Bangladesh in December 2022, surpassing the record of 71 international centuries set by Australian legend Ricky Ponting. Since then, he has maintained his exceptional form, notching up three centuries in the first half of 2023.

He showcased his ruthless form in the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League, where he ended up as the second-highest run-scorer for Royal Challengers Bangalore, scoring 639 runs in 14 matches at an average of 53.35 and a blistering strike rate of nearly 140.

However, he couldn't replicate his recent success in the World Test Championship final against Australia, mustering just 14 runs and 49 runs in the first and second innings, respectively as India faced their second consecutive defeat in the WTC final.
