In what is coming as one of the biggest games in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are all set to take on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their upcoming clash. Ahead of this major encounter, RCB superstars Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya were seen having a serious chat in Chennai during a practice session.
Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya Engage In Serious Discussion
One of the most heated rivalries in the Indian Premier League, the Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru clash is the one to watch out for. The players and fans from both sides often get heated when it comes to the opposition, as these teams share a long history against each other.
With not much time left for this high-profile encounter, the RCB star batter Virat Kohli and their premier all-rounder Krunal Pandya were having a proper discussion during their practice session at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
In the video circulating on social media, Kohli was listening patiently to Krunal, who was gesturing to the ace batter about something related to his batting stance and the deliveries that might be coming on the leg side.
Krunal is seen making animated gestures and explaining to Kohli with full enthusiasm something that is still not clear from the video. In reply to all-rounder's insights, Kohli is seen nodding his head as he shares his views with the all-rounder.
As for the upcoming clash, both players will be crucial to RCB's chances. Krunal will most likely have to play a major role, considering the turning conditions in Chepauk, where batting won't be easy, considering the experience of CSK spinners.
Chennai And Bengaluru Go Head To Head
After attaining victories in both their respective opening matches, the Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be up against each other at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on March 28th, Friday, which will be their second game of the season, as they both have two points each in their tally.
At the moment, the RCB side are at second position on the table, while the CSK are fourth, based on their respective Net Run Rates.
The RCB side is coming off a win over Kolkata Knight Riders in their opening encounter, where Kohli played a valuable 59*-run knock of just 36 deliveries, while Krunal Pandya bowled a lethal 3/29 spell in his four overs, decimating the KKR batters, as RCB won the game by seven wickets with 22 balls to spare.
