The excitement of the Indian Premier League has hit early, with a young South African fan spotted at SuperSport in Centurion getting his Royal Challengers Bangalore jersey signed by none other than Virat Kohli, his cricketing idol. 

This heartwarming incident happened just before the beginning of Day 2 in the first Test clash between India and South Africa in Centurion. Kohli made the young fan's day by posing for a photograph, and the joy on his face was evident.

Kohli kicked off with a solid innings yesterday, stepping up as India stumbled to 24/3 in the first ten overs. Joining hands with Shreyas Iyer (31), they built a 68-run stand, applying controlled aggression to swing the momentum back against the South African bowlers. 

Kohli's smooth 38 (64) innings was cut short by an excellent delivery from Kagiso Rabada. KL Rahul (101) then stepped up, leading the lower order to guide India to a solid total of 245.

In response, South Africa are in a commanding position, thanks to a priceless third wicket partnership between Dean Elgar and David Bedingham. As of writing, the hosts are 223 for three, with Elgar and Bedingham unbeaten on 125* and 45*, respectively.
