The Indian dressing room has never looked more positive in recent times, and there's largely two people to credit for it; Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. There shared camaraderie has time and again been an epitome of brotherhood.  

In a viral video on Instagram, a popular social media platform, Virat Kohli met with Chris Gayle just before the game began. As he talks to him, he points at the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and tells the veteran legend to meet him, too. Gayle then shakes hands with him and embraces him in a tight hug. He also asks Rohit to sign his vibrant jacket.

Talking about the game, it felt that India wanted to start strong; however, they hit the biggest roadblock of all when Virat Kohli departed early on in the innings, followed by Rohit Sharma. 

However, Rishabh Pant and Axar Patel's partnership did some damage control, but it wasn't enough as once Patel departed, Suryakumar Yadav couldn't do too much with the bat as he fell for just seven runs. 

Although Hardik and Arshdeep tried to pull off something extraordinary, unfortunately, India bundled out on just 119 runs.

In the second innings, Pakistan started strong. However, their happiness was cut short after Bumrah dismissed Babar Azam soon enough. 

After that, the game pretty much saw partnerships between a couple of batters. However, the Indian bowlers regularly kept on scalping wickets, ultimately resulting in India defeating their arch-rivals by just 6 runs.

India will next lockhorns with USA on Wednesday, 12 June.
