Through an innovative scholarship program, M3M Foundation, in collaboration with Shikhar Dhawan Foundation, pledges to sponsor one girl's vocational education for every 25 runs scored or 3 wickets taken by Punjab Kings during their home games.

This initiative will support 111 girls with scholarships worth up to Rs. 5 lakh each over the next five years.

Speaking on the collaboration, Punjab Kings captain Shikhar Dhawan expressed his delight, stating, "With the support of our Shers, we hope to secure the future of young girls in the country and ensure our aid reaches those in need for a sustainable future."

Dhawan, who recently showcased his exceptional form by scoring a quick-fire 99 Not-Out in the DY Patil Tournament, is gearing up to lead the Punjab Kings in the upcoming IPL 2024 season.

Despite being 38 years old, Dhawan's commitment to the game remains unwavering, setting high hopes for the Kings' campaign.

As the Kings aim for a reversal of fortunes under the leadership of Dhawan and head coach Trevor Bayliss, anticipation runs high for their opening match against Delhi Capitals on March 23.
