In the latest step towards the Champions Trophy, ICC has dropped the latest promo for the upcoming fifty-over event, which begins on February 19. The International Cricket Council's latest advertisement features the likes of Shaheen Afridi, Shadab Khan, Hardik Pandya, Mohammad Nabi, and Phil Salt.

In the latest promo, the ICC explored the heist theme where they showed Shadab Khan and Shaheen Afridi teaming up to take the Champions Trophy locked in a room. Similarly, Hardik Pandya too used his acrobatic skills to get into the room, where former Afghanistan captain Nabi and England's star batter Phil Salt also made their presence in order to get their hands on the prestigious trophy. 


Row Erupts Between PCB And BCCI Over Champions Trophy 2025

Champions Trophy 2025 begins from February 19 till March 9. Meanwhile, India will not travel to Pakistan for the upcoming event because of security reasons. Further, another row erupted when there were reports that India will not have Pakistan's name on their Champions Trophy jerseys. 

However, the issue was quickly resolved as the BCCI secretary, Devajit Saikia, speaking to the PTI, confirmed that India will comply to ICC and India will have Pakistan's name on their jerseys.

Despite the clarification, there is another issue that is yet to get a clarification is Rohit Sharma's visit to Pakistan. Notably, the hosts will have a captains' meet event in Pakistan soon and it is to be seen whether the hitman will travel to Pakistan or not. 

Earlier there were reports that Rohit will not go to Pakistan, but the BCCI secretary confirmed that the decision is yet to be taken.
