Delhi Capitals' skipper Rishabh Pant didn't have a great start with the bat during his side's ongoing IPL 2024 face-off against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

During a mammoth 267-run chase, Pant started his innings in an ordinary fashion, batting at a sloth-paced 23-ball 19 at one stage.

However, the left-handed batter eventually found his mojo with a massive six off Nitish Kumar Reddy's bowling.

The incident occurred during the 16th over of the Capitals' innings when they were in a spot of bother, placed at 166 for six in pursuit of a daunting target.

After conceding four runs, including a wide off his first three deliveries, Reddy bowled it in the slot.

Seeing the ball in his arc, Pant's eyes lit up, as he smacked it over the mid-wicket stand for a huge six. He got low on the front foot, cleared his front leg and hammered it over the leg side for a 77m maximum.

After hitting the six, Pant also struck several boundaries to improve his strike rate and reduce the required run rate. However, T Natarajan's heroics in the 19th over resulted in DC's dramatic collapse, as they slipped from 199 for seven to 199 allout in the blink of an eye.
