[Watch] Rishabh Pant Joins India’s Asia Cup 2023 Training Camp In Alur

Rishabh Pant, who is currently attaining full recovery at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, visited the nearby Alur camp to re-unite with some of his Indian teammates.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video of Pant enjoying the company of the Indian team, at a time when they were undergoing their training sessions in Alur for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 in Sri Lanka.

Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and the rest of the Indian team set base in Alur last week as part of their training camps for the Asia Cup 2023. After days of hard work and preparation, they were graced by injured Rishabh Pant on the field.

Rishabh Pant suffered a horrific car crash last December, thus succumbing to injuries that have kept him out of competitive cricket to date. After medical treatments, the cricketer has been confined to the NCA in order to attain full recovery.

Meanwhile, Team India will soon fly to Sri Lanka in time to play their opening game of the 2023 Asia Cup. Rohit Sharma and co. are slated to face arch-rivals Pakistan on September 2, and the much-awaited contest will be played out at the Pallekele International Stadium in Kandy.
