Team India have landed in Mumbai ahead of the Open Bus Parade set to take place from Marine Drive To Wankhede Stadium. The fans are eagerly waiting for the players to arrive at the stadium to celebrate the T20 World Cup victory.

Notably, India returned to the country today after being stuck for four days in Barbados because of cyclone Beryl. The Men in Blue landed in New Delhi and then went to meet PM Modi for breakfast.

The players and the support staff then boarded the flight to Mumbai. The players were travelling from a Vistara aircraft and the airlines left no stone unturned in honouring the historic win.

Firstly, Vistara tweeted that the flight that the players have been travelling in, have been named 'UK1845', honouring the legacy of Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma, who announced their retirement after winning the final.

In the latest events, Vistara welcomed the Indian team with a 'water salute' gesture at the Mumbai airport.
