Rohit Sharma is known to speak his mind and he was in a deadly mood after the Cape Town Test win over South Africa. India became the first Asian team to win a Test match in Cape Town and Rohit delivered an honest and fiery press conference, talking about variety of issues from the quality of pitches to what Test cricket means to him.
However, out of all the questioning and answering, one question and the reply for it stood out. A reporter indirectly and cleverly tried to ask Rohit about whether he will play T20Is against Afghanistan or not. This has been a hot topic as T20 World Cup is around the corner and both Rohit and Kohli have not featured in T20Is for India after the 2022 T20 World Cup.
Rohit though understood the real intention of the question as the reporter asked him whether he will now concentrate on Test series against England or T20I series against Afghanistan and replied him with his typical swag in hindi - 'Dimag laga rahe ho aap! Nahi, abhi Cape Town ke baare me baat karte hai'.
Rohit taunted the reporter that he is nicely using his brain to try to get an answer on T20I selection from him but denied commenting on it and added that it is time to talk about Cape Town Test at this point in time.
