Star Aussie opener David Warner in all probability, is unlikely to receive a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the forthcoming International League T20 (ILT20) in UAE.

The reports are arriving after Cricket Australia (CA) is going through a serious headache of maintaining the availability of their leading cricketers for the Big Bash League (BBL) in December-January.

To make matters worse for CA, they will compete with not one but two high-quality leagues from South Africa and UAE. Moreover, the concerns regarding the contract renewal of various high-profile players for BBL is still hot amid controversy of many choosing higher-paid leagues outside Down Under.

Warner still in doubt about Big Bash

The left-handed opener is seriously contesting for the prized deal to be valued at $US 500,000 (Rs 4 Crore) every year for the next three years in the UAE. Overall, what he would be making is not very far from his IPL deal, valued at Rs 6.25 Crores per year.

The Big Bash deal offered to players is currently lower than what the other top leagues pay, considering this, Warner might have come to the conclusion of not choosing the BBL. CA, after having an afterthought in pursuit of barring Warner and other cricketers from participating in foreign leagues is looking to hand top-Dollar contracts for the upcoming season.

It remains to be seen if Warner chooses to go with his home league or will proceed to apply for the league in UAE.
