The 2nd T20I of the 5-match series will be played at Grange Cricket Club, Edinburgh on July 29, 7 PM IST
New Zealand produced an emphatic win in the first game.
Finn Allen's carnage in first T20I caused drubbing to Scotland by 68 runs. New Zealand were too good for the inexperienced Scottish bowling line-up with top-order firing right from the start. Kiwi bowlers in return ran through the opposition's batting with spin doing the majority of damage.
The Blackcaps recently got better of Ireland in a tightly contested series consisting of three ODIs and as many T20 Internationals.

Finn Allen celebrates his century
A high-class century knock in the first T20I has led to Finn Allen announcing himself on the big stage. The talented young kiwi who rose up the ranks in 2017-18 domestic season when turned up for Auckland scoring aggressively. His performance in the 2018 U-19 World Cup grabbed him a lot of eyeballs becoming the second highest run-scorer in the tournament.
In 2021, he received the national call-up against Bangladesh where managed to score 71 in his third T20 international. Later in 2022, he was snapped up by Royal Challengers Bangalore to play in the IPL 2022. Allen's brimming form is something to watch out for in the coming years, making him an interesting prospect.
The wicketkeeper-batter scored 101 in just 56 deliveries with 6 sixes and 8 fours in previous fixture.

Pitch Report: With a high scoring encounter in the previous game expect nothing different this time around with the Kiwis bolstering of top-heavy batting attack. As what happened in the first match, 8 of the 12 matches on this wicket have been won by the side batting first.
