India's biggest superstar, Virat Kohli will be featuring in Delhi's Ranji Trophy match against Railways on 30 January. This decision came after a poor run in Tests saw the star receiving criticism from all nooks and corners. Initially, Kohli was expected to play in Delhi's match against Saurashtra, but a neck sprain delayed his participation.
Nevertheless, Virat Kohli's domestic return has been marked by a lot of excitement. Keeping in mind, his mass fan-following, The Delhi District Cricket Association (DDCA) is reportedly making some special arrangements. This is not the first time that something like this done for a high-profile cricketer. Earlier, the MCA also announced that 500 extra seats would be added for the Mumbai versus J&K Ranji Trophy match where Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal were playing.
Similarly, to ensure that the match goes on smooth and systematic, arrangements to host 10,000 fans for free to watch the return of Virat Kohli in Ranji Trophy are reportedly being made by the DDCA.

Virat Kohli’s last Ranji appearance was over a decade ago, in a match against Uttar Pradesh. He scored 14 runs in the first innings and 43 in the second, but Delhi lost by six wickets. By then, Kohli had already established himself internationally, leading to his domestic cricket career taking a backseat as global commitments took priority.
