The second ODI between India and Australia is scheduled for October 23 at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide. After a disappointing performance in the first match, the Men in Blue will be looking forward to strengthening their batting line-up ahead of the second match.

The fans are also waiting to watch the star batters Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma perform against Australia in the ODIs.

India vs Australia encounter at Adelaide Oval sold out

The India vs Australia series was one of the most anticipated series of the year, as Kohli and Rohit were set to return to international cricket after an eight-month absence. However, the expectations turned into disappointment after their performance in the previous match. Despite the disaster that happened in the first ODI match, the fans have not lost hope, and the Adelaide Oval stadium has been sold out for the second game.

Considering that Kohli's performance has been stunning in the stadium, cricket enthusiasts didn't miss the chance to watch him play live. The upcoming match is a must-win game for India to level the series.

"The tickets for the Men's ODI between Australia and India at Adelaide Oval are now sold out. The match is the second of a three-game ODI series, with Australia claiming a seven-wicket win in the first ODI in Perth. The Men's ODI in Adelaide begins at 2 pm local time," said a media release by Cricket Australia.

All eyes on Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in 2nd ODI

The legendary duo Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have returned to the ODI set-up after a hiatus of eight months. While the crowd expected them to showcase their vintage performance, Kohli was dismissed on a duck, and Rohit returned to the pavilion on eight runs.

After a disappointing performance, all eyes will be on Kohli and Sharma in the second ODI match since their World Cup 2027 dream depends on this series. The fans are also eager to watch their favorite players perform in Australia and help India win the bilateral series. The Men in Blue last won an ODI series in Australia back in 2018 under Kohli's captaincy. Hence, this series is quite crucial for the team.
