Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali has joined the Adelaide Strikers camp for the upcoming 2025-26 edition of the Big Bash League (BBL). Set to make his BBL debut this month, the cricketer was acquired by the Strikers earlier this year during the BBL 2025-26 draft.
Hasan Ali is one of several Pakistani players to have landed in Australia for BBL, alongside the likes of Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi among others.
Hasan Ali strikes blue for Adelaide Strikers
Pakistan quick Hasan Ali has arrived in Australia and has joined the Adelaide Strikers camp for the upcoming BBL 2025-26 season. On Thursday, December 11, the cricketer even graced the Adelaide Strikers jersey and posed for the camera as the 31-year-old braces himself up for his BBL debut.
The Adelaide Strikers team even shared pictures of Hasan Ali on their official Instagram account, with a caption describing the speedster as:
“The man, the myth, the legend”
Hasan Ali is not the only Pakistani cricketer to be representing his nation in the upcoming BBL 2025-26 season. Fellow Pakistan stars like Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Hassan Khan and Shadab Khan are also lined-up to turn up for their respective teams in the tournament.
Hasan Ali, a veteran of 221 T20 matches, last played T20I cricket for Pakistan back in August this year during the UAE T20I tri-series. He has picked up 318 T20 wickets, including 72 in 56 international innings for the ‘Men in Green’.
As per the BBL 2025-26 schedule, the Adelaide Strikers team will commence their campaign with a match against Sydney Sixers at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney. The match is scheduled to be played on Wednesday, December 17 next week.
